Dr. Yinyin Ye is an Assistant Professor of Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering at the University at Buffalo. Prior to joining UB, she was a postdoctoral research associate at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, working on proteomics applications in pathogen detection, pathogen-host interactions, and noninvasive clinical diagnosis. Dr. Ye received her B.S. degree in Water Supply and Wastewater Engineering from Tongji University (2012), and her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan (2018). Her Ph.D. research is focused on the fate and the detection of enveloped viruses in environment.
