We are environmental engineers studying the fate and transport of pathogens and their virulence factors in engineered systems. We innovate and foster “omics” technologies to harness the power of environmental big data for human health. The outcomes of our research is important for a wide range of applications, including early warning systems for infectious disease outbreaks, water treatment, and sustainable agriculture.
